Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Watertown - Thousand Islands, an IHG Hotel

The staff! They were absolutely so helpful and understanding. Me and my friend are both 18 and when we arrived the staff let us know Holiday Inn changed the age limit a week before our stay to 21. But since no one let us know they let us stay anyways. The staff told us on our way out that they received no complaints about me and my friend and that they appreciated how respectful we were and understanding. We were there for a comic con convention. And we were in our costumes at checkout. The manager took photos with us and even said we could email her personally if we booked again and we would be allowed to stay. I really appreciated the kindness shown to me and my friend. And the place itself was lovely as well. Very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and breakfast was lovely. The pool was also heated and very relaxing. If we are in the area again I will have to reach out and stay again. Beautiful area and hotel.

I was able to check-in fairly quickly. I noticed how clean the commons areas were. My room was very clean/neat as well. I was also happy to know that I was able to use a side door to enter and exit as some places have issues with their card readers.

I’ve stayed at this hotel periodically over the past few years. It’s a convenient location to shopping, restaurants and local attractions; and adjacent to the main interstate to Fort Drum (US Army 10th Mountain Division) and the Thousands Island Bridge to Canada. The rooms/beds are clean and comfortable. Staff is always friendly and responsive to guest questions or concerns. The breakfast provided includes excellent coffee, hot food items, fresh pastries and fruit.

The hotel was in a good location, and the staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. The hotel was also very clean, and given the current situation with COVID, being clean is an excellent thing. And they had coffee all day long, LOL. I will stay there the next time we are in the area.

Nora, the front desk clerk, was very nice and professional. You couldn't have asked for a more friendly welcome. The extra cot and towels were already in our room which was very nice. The cleaning lady (didn't get her name) was very friendly also.
